Gifts for a Teenager
Ever went shopping for your teenage kid, and could not, could not, think of anything to get them after looking throughout the whole, wide store? Well, worry no more! I have the solutions to your dire problems.
Here are three solutions: a cool new computer, a righteous new i-pod, and a gift card with plenty of money on it for Borders or Waldens (preferably Borders). See, right there, is a perfect bundle of great gifts for you and your teen. Please, let me explain.
When you go out to purchase this cool new computer, parents, go ahead and go WILD with the money. Get the newest and the coolest laptop with a big touch screen, a wireless mouse, and an awesome fast Internet. If you prefer a desktop, go and get some nice data space with a brick house of virus protection. Keep your children safe from terrible viruses and cookies, while enhancing their time on the computer with lightening fast Internet. And you know what? They might actually e-mail or instant message you while you're still at work ,or if you're away on a business trip. If you're the grandparent buying this marvelous gift, you could instead have cool, smiley/icon messages, instead of slow texts or awkward talks on the phone.
If you are a bit short on money, then a new i-pod is an exceptional gift. Tons of different skins and several styles make getting one for your individual teen easy. After you give your teen this nifty gift and they have chosen some songs to download, wont you be surprised at the cheap cost! A dollar twenty-five at its most expensive per song!! Giving a cheap gift card isnt too bad since its pretty cheap itself. While in the car, you dont have to fight for the station anymore either. Just keep your 80s( or whatever you prefer) station reasonably in range while your teen rocks out to some Muse. When you get home from work for a restful evening of comfort, you dont want to be disturbed by blaring music, right? Well, fret no more! With the i-pod in you teens ears, you can do whatever ,whenever! Have a romantic dinner or a relaxing bubble bath.
If your teen is a bookish-type get them this: a Walden's or Border's gift card. Load it up with money and plant it in a deceiving-ribbon-covered box with lots of streamers and tissue paper. Watch them dig in with relish just to find a small piece of plastic. A loaded piece of plastic. After their eyes go huge at the sum amount on the card, remember to actually take them out shopping. It won't just be vampire books they'll be buying either (even if those books are good to buy, too). There is calendars, notebooks, pencils and pens, atlases, and other scholarly things to be bought to help with your teenager's progress in school After looking around they could buy things to enhance their day to day life: book lights, manga, windup toys, kits (for a lot of things), and, if at Border's, music, DVD's, and beverages from the cafe.
Remember parents or grandparents: a cool computer, a tight i-pod, and a loaded gift card for Walden's or Border's. Those are some very ideal gifts for some very special teens, but don't stick to these exact things. Expand your horizons and get creative for your teen. They might already have these things anyway.
